We’ve added new WCF and REST API commands:
GetAllZones() – returns a JSON or .Net List of all available zones;
GetAllPlayers() – same method for players, returns a JSON or .Net List of all players;
SetZoneMute (string zoneName, bool mute) – use this to mute or unmute zone by name.
Don’t forget to upgrade, please download latest version here.
At first you need create zones, as much as you need, then please create players and associate each player with appropriate zones using Zones Tab. Your first multi room setup is ready to use!

Please start Multi Room Audio Player and go to the Tools menu, click on the Settings and select Remote tab. Please turn on “Enable remote control” checkbox. You can’t specify an address, this is your computer local address, but you can change a port. After changing the Port, please click “Restart” button.
Once you have created a zone, you need to create players. Go to the main menu Players. Currently, you can create three types of players.

You can control Multi Room Audio Player using REST API as well as via command line interface with console commands. At first run main software, then find mzap5cmd.exe remote console control program in the same folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Room Audio Player 5
To create a new zone in Multi Room Audio Player, first go to Zones menu and click New zone or press Ctrl-Shift-Z hotkey.

At first please create M3U playlist with all your ads. Start Multi Room Audio Player, go to Tools menu and run “Music Database” (Ctrl-Alt-M hot key)
